Born in September 11, 1970, Telmo Miller has always been passionate about photography. In 1997, he studied at the Portuguese Institute of Photography and started to work in advertising. He simultaneously attended workshops on Advertising, Fashion, Portrait, Nude and Human Figure, namely with Greg Gorman. In 2000, he embraced the fields of Advertising and Editorial, being responsible for the photography of magazines on Architecture, Engineering, Interiors, and others.
He has worked as a freelancer since 2006.
His work comprises several areas – Architecture, Interiors, Portrait, Lifestyle, Fashion, Advertising, and Travel. Along the years he has been doing advertising works for numerous companies, as well as collaborating with Portuguese and international publications like Condé Nast Traveler, Ryanair. In Portugal, he has work published in Blue Living, Volta ao Mundo, Diário de Notícias, Máxima, among others. His photos also appear in books, such as the retrospective of the best hundred Portuguese works of civil engineering in the 20th century or the biographies of the architect Dante Macedo, the sculptor Fernando Conduto, and the lighting designer Peter Gasper.
This diversity of subjects allows a continuous development of his work.
